From £13.00*UK Premiere Like An Idiot by Cristina Moura (Brazil) An exploration of dance performed to music ranging from Mozart to Lauryn Hill. Physical, concrete, subjective, Moura’s movement vocabulary is emotional and political, displaying the body as a storehouse of emotions. In 2005, Like An Idiot was part of the official program of the Brazilian Season in France and in 2006 part of the Copa da Cultura in Germany. 'Cristina Moura's solo urban dance work Like An Idiot is an inner landscape of dancing with oneself - funny, physical, political, impulsive.' - Staci Nevinski, CulturalAffairs Cristina Moura Dancer and choreographer, Cristina has worked with companies from Brazil and Europe. From 1995 to 2002 she worked and lived in Europe, returning to Brazil in 2002. She premiered her dance solo Like An Idiot at the Panorama de Dança Festival Rio de Janeiro. Since then the solo has been presented more than 120 times in Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, UK, USA and Uruguay.
